Websites for Knitters

Here are some websites of interest that our classmates have mentioned, especially for free patterns. I may not remember all of them, so I’ll keep adding to it as you mention them.

tkga.com
coatsandclark.com
lionsbrand.com
knitpicks.com
knitting forum
nicky epstein
diynetwork.com (Knitty Gritty, Carol Duvall)
knitheaven.com (review on knitting books)
dailyknitter.com
hookedonfelt.com
patternworks.com
smileysyarn.com (wonderful, reliable company; good name brand yarns, greatly discounted)
To all of the free knitting patterns: http://www.knittingpatterncentral.com/directory.php

Here is a website to order t-shirts for knitters; there are almost 500 designs: cafepress.com (in the search box, press “clothing and hats;” in the other box, type “knitters”).

Photos

Here are some warm memories of the past 12 weeks. I did not add all the pictures I took, and I'm sorry I don't have any pictures of the Monday class.

I love these beaded necklaces.

We had so many finished projects; it was a skilled task to hold them all.

I've been wanting to learn how to knit hats and socks for a while. Yea, I can knit things that are round now.

These felted purses and hearts turned out beautiful.
