Register Next Week

Hi. Did you receive your Placer School for Adults catalog? Registration starts next Tuesday, Jan 20. Register early.

Fran sent me KnitPicks e-catalog. She wanted to let us know that there are tutorials on their website. Both of us were not aware of that fact.

Also, I received this email from Babetta's Yarn shop:
"The fabulous knitting designer LOUISA HARDING is going to be at Babetta's Yarn and Gifts next week!!! That's right, at 10 am on Wednesday, January 21, Louisa Harding will be doing a book signing. There will be many new and past books available
for you to choose from if you don't have one already and, of course, there will be refreshments. We open at 8 am so you can come by early if you'd like."

Babetta's is located at 4400 San Juan Ave, Fair Oaks.

Tickets on Sale for Stitch n Ride

Hi. I was asked a good question today regarding Stitch n Ride on Feb 28 -- are we suppose to purchase our own tickets or if someone in class coordinates it. It is easier for everyone to purchase her own tickets. When ordering your Stitch n Ride ticket ($55), make sure to order the Market Place ticket at the same time (about $6-8, can't remember exact cost); it is on the same online form. I heard the tickets will be mailed to us in Feb so don't worry if you don't get them in the mail right away. Carpool arrangements will be discussed in class.

Also Andrea is collecting holiday cards (when you're done w/them), interesting catalogs/magazines, celestial seasoning tea boxes (sleepytime, bengal spice, etc.), and/or end of year calendars w/photos to make book covers, beads & handmade cards.

Class catalogs are sent out today. Yippee!
