Gansey Extension

It was a fun time. Linda and Nola met with Knotty Knitters from 3 to 8:30 pm. There were groups shopping for Skiff clothing and jewelry, knitting rugs for their book, taking the hook rug flower pin class, and having a good time with yummy treats and tea.


Nola brought a huge selection of Skiffs.

Cynthia is full of surprises; she also makes jewelry.

Gansey Wk 12

It was the last class of the Fall session, and we had a wonderful Christmas party.

On Dec. 13, we will have a special extension for rug knitting, a Skiff party, Nola's hook rug flower pin class, and just knitting together. Feel free to come even if you are not involved in any of the activities.  Linda and Nola will be at the ARD center from 3:00 to 8:30. Nola's class will also be held on Saturday morning; you will need to sign up in advance. The class is $20, and additional pin kits can be purchased. For this class, bring either a small quilting hoop or a very large embroidery hoop.

The next session will begin on January 10. The theme of the class will be Pop Knitting and modular pieces from New Zealand.

We love to shop! Toni brought her handmade glass pieces for us to buy. I think a few ordered the glass knitting bowl we all coveted. By the way, Cynthia was the recipient.
