Color Techniques II Wk 10

The long awaited Nola's Challenge is here! We had fun looking at the completed results of the crocheted caps. The 11 projects are fabulous which made it very hard to pick just three winners. Congratulations to everyone who entered for a job well done.

1st Place, Debi's Bee

2d Place, Irene's Reversible Toy (one side)

The other side

3d Place, Lynette's Frog

This Week
Linda demonstrated a two-color cast on for double knitting that we practiced in class. We will be given a pattern for playing card coasters next week that we will try in class.

Coming Up
We will start intarsia next. Linda showed us two patterns that we might want to choose from. One of the patterns is already in our packet. It is a shoulder bag; the other is a patchwork bag that may be ordered from Knit Picks if interested.

Please sign up if you plan to go to the SCC visit. We will be bringing past challenge projects, plus the Nola's challenge that we just completed. We will either go to breakfast or lunch too.
