Hearth & Home III Wk 2

Back from Easter break, Linda had a surprise project for us to celebrate the 100th anniversary of a historical event. Some of the guesses were the Girl Scouts, Red Vine Licorice,  and L L Bean. The answer was the Titanic. We broke up in teams and took a multiple choice quiz. Team Penny, Teri, Pat, and Irene won. Everyone learned a lot about this event. Then the surprise knitting project was a white felted star for the White Star Line.

Next Week
We will knit samples of other rug patterns in our packet. Bring medium wt cotton or poly cotton fabric (tear into 1" strips), cotton worsted wt yarn, and size 8 or 10 straight needles.

Materials Fee
Don't forget to pay Linda the $5 material fee for this session.
