Gansey Wk 10

It was the debut of two awesome Ganseys!

Cynthia designed her own sweater.

By request from her husband, Toni knitted him a sweater.

Next Class, Nov. 29
The biggest Christmas craft workshop ever for us.  Bring scissors, size 3 knitting needles or dpns, and your team craft project.

Christmas Pary, Dec. 6
A sign up sheet for the potluck is being passed around. Bring a wrapped gift to exchange: $10 value, knit related. It can be hand made, equivalent of $10.

Hook Rug Pin Class and Skiff Party, Dec. 13
Linda's sister, Nola is coming next month!  She will teach a cute traditional hook rug flower pin class.  I'm sorry I forgot to take a picture. The class is $20; exra kits are $15. She is also bringing skiffs for the party. A sign up and information sheet was passed around for both events.

Stitches West
Debi received a box of knitting books from her new best friend, Nicky Epstein. She has donated another fantastic book for the SW bus trip.

Good Day Sacramento
Linda announced that Good Day Sacramento would like us on the show again, probably in January!  This time, they would like to see our fingerpuppets.  Please bring them to class so Linda can take them to the show.

Happy Thanksgiving
No class next week for Thanksgiving. Linda expressed her gratitude to all of us and how much we mean to her.  She appreciates the old and new friendships.

Jake's Gift
At the next class, please bring a couple of dollars for a group cash gift for Jake, the nice and very helpful custodian at ARD. We will present it to him at the Christmas Party.

Show 'n Tell

Debi bought these kits at VKL and knitted the bottom portion.

Karen is making this cute Christmas ornament.

Sandy is making slippers for gifts.

Cynthia's hat made with two strands of sock yarn.

Penny said this scarf was fast and easy too knit.

Toni found this vest pattern on Creative Knitting.

Toni also made this darling fairy from the book of knitted fairies she showed us last week. She bought the book at Joanne's. She also does glasswork, making this cute snowman with knitted hat and scarf. She has an Etsy site on the internet. See link on the left.

Happy Thanksgiving!  It's so nice to knit and be together.  I appreciate all of you too.
