Summer 8

The moebius cat bed. Domino's paw is on the moebius part. I used the large size pattern; there is plenty of room for him although it is hard to tell from the photo.

The duckling and the donut (doknit) comes from http://Kat-Knits.blogspot.com. These projects are easy and fast to make. Each one can be a different color, and you can use a variety of yarn (especially scraps) and embellishments. Some have asked me what are they for; I just liked to knit them for fun and variety. The duckling can be a nice addition to a baby gift, and the donut can be a pin cushion or several can be added for a cute table display for a tea party.

Had a good time on the coast up north. Visited yarn shops in three areas: Arcata, Ferndale, and Fort Bragg. The projects on display were mostly made from cotton such as scarves, hats, and sweaters in beautiful variegated colors. The store in Fort Bragg had cute designs; the designs are called Knit Wit or Knit Wits -- can't remember.

Don't forget to RSVP for the August 23 party.
