December 13 Rug and Skiff Party
The rug meeting will start at 3 pm instead of 1 pm. Even if you are not making a rug, you can come and knit with the group. The Skiff party will start at 6 pm. There is a preference form to fill out, so Nola can bring clothing that we are interested in.
Nola will also have a hook flower pin class for $20. You can make either a sunflower, daisy, or poinsetta.

Teri's beautiful top. She bought the yarn at VKL in Chicago. |
Cynthia figured out how to prevent her sweater from sagging from the weight of the yarn. She added strips in the shoulder areas from the neckline down as shown below. |
Happy knitting!

I found this youtube video helpful when I first attempted a felted soap. The nylon stocking helps hold the roving down tight as you begin to rub...as soon as it starts to felt together...take off the nylon, then keep rubbing! -Diana
oops, I forgot to attach it!

Thanks for the tip. It was quite an experience trying to get the roving to stick, but we had a lot of fun. The soap smelled so good.
