Pop Knit III Wk 3

It was a special night with a surprise for everyone who knitted a president. First of all, we were surprised to see Sue, Cynthia, and Penny, who were available to join us for the evening. Linda wrote and designed a limited edition fun facts and coloring book of the presidents that she gave to everyone who made a president. Each person who made a president signed their name on the page that their president was mentioned. Thank you very much, Linda!

We worked on two different projects. One was the construction pattern of squares and rectangles, and the other was the braided row technique using cables. Next week, we will learn to put the cable braided rows together and make the donut hole technique using two colors.

Toni mentioned that the Webs sale is still going on. Cascade 220 can be purchased at a great price.

Potluck May 2
The birthday potluck is in two weeks. A sign up sheet was passed around. Linda has a special project for us to make. Bring size 10 1/2 straight needles, a little ribbon to tie on, and two rows of crepe paper of any color to knit a birthday crown.
